Garry McCann our Creative Director, was invited to give a talk and workshop to The ALLIANCE Scotland members last week. The theme was “Accessible design specifically for the web”.

The event, held at The ALLIANCE office in Glasgow, was attended by 17 different organisations from all over Scotland.

The theme was aimed at small to medium organisations who want to do more with their websites. The talks focused on design for both users and staff. This included how to identify users and finally how to write a brief for a website.

At the end of the 2 hour session, Cole AD gave all those who attended a £1,000 voucher for web services. We encouraged them to share it if they could not use it for themselves. All the resources that were used on the day have also been made available to the attendees.

We would like to thank The ALLIANCE who supplied the space and food for the event. We would also like to give Kerry Ritchie a special mention for all her help in organising the day. Finally a mention for Dr Michael Crabb, as we used some of his ideas for our workshop.
