As the business landscape evolves, so too must a company’s visual identity. In the heart of Glasgow’s bustling city centre, we’re excited to unveil our re-brand for Gillespie & Anderson Chartered Accountants.

G&A are a well-established accountancy practice. The firm can trace its roots back to 1923. Its original partners were brothers-in-law, Bob Gillespie and J Menzies Anderson. Fast forward to 2023, as the firm approached 100 years in business, current partner of the firm, Alastair Stewart, approached us to refresh their branding after being recommended to us by our client, Aspen Solutions. Feeling that their existing logo did not best represent them as firm, and did not resonate with their long-standing client base, the aim was to give the brand a modern refresh, whilst still honouring it’s traditional roots and values.

Alastair and his people believe in going above and beyond for their clients with passion and knowledge. Therefore the new brand is designed to capture this ethos. It is professional, simple, bold and sophisticated. Pairing classic typography with a strong colour palette and grid style support graphics. The brand draws inspiration from the Scottish heritage of the firm and the grid-like streets of Glasgow that it has serviced for 100 years.

Through collaboration and understanding of our client’s aspirations, our Studio has breathed new life into this accountancy firm’s visual identity.

We thank G&A for this opportunity and the team at Aspen Solutions too for recommending our Studio!
