The Phantom of the Opera will arrive at Festival Theatre Edinburgh in September 2020.
It is one of the most successful musicals in history playing to over 145 million people in 41 countries and 183 cities in 17 languages. As a result, it has won more than 70 major theatre awards.

Because our agency is the media planner & buyer for Festival Theatre Edinburgh, part of Capital Theatres, we prepared a strategy to cover a variety of media.

First of all, Cole AD bought media space on the Waverley Station jumbo transvision screen and Princes Street, Edinburgh digital bus shelters. Bus advertising was similarly arranged, plus digital billboards too.

Media planning and buying for radio stations was key. Plus newspapers were another part of the campaign too.
