We’ve all been doing a lot of walking during lockdown – seeing as it’s about all we can do! So we’re glad to say it could all pay off this month, as it’s been perfect preparation for one of our charity partner’s annual events – The SBH Scotland Kiltwalk!
This year, the Kiltwalk is once again going virtual in April 2021. However, this time, you choose your challenge! Anybody of any age is welcome to take on the latest Kiltwalk inspired challenge; go for a walk (of any length), a cycle, or even run a family scavenger hunt.
You decide on your challenge and as long as you’re raising funds for charity and staying within the latest Scottish Government guidelines, anything goes!
Cole AD are proud to be supporting our charity partners, SBH Scotland, for the Kiltwalk this year and will be playing our part to help them raise funds.
In case you don’t know who SBH Scotland are, they are an organisation created by parents; for parents and their children. Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland was founded in 1965 (then known as Scottish Spina Bifida Association) by a small group of enthusiastic parents who each had a child with spina bifida. Their aim is to increase public awareness and understanding of individuals with spina bifida and / or hydrocephalus and allied conditions. They support all those affected to identify their needs and to empower them to make informed choices and decisions.
A great incentive to take part in the Kiltwalk is that if you raise funds for SBH Scotland, The Hunter Foundation will top up your raised funds by 50%!
For example, if you raise £50, The Hunter Foundation will add £25, and SBH Scotland may also be able to claim gift aid on your donation, making your total a possible £87.50.

There’s no minimum amount of sponsorship to be raised, but every penny you do donate makes a big difference to SBH Scotland. Please visit their events page for more info, good luck & happy fundraising!
