It’s finally time to play the music and light the lights, as theatres are back in a big way this August! Also back in business is our media buy offering. Find out more about media buy across Scotland and how we’re planning for the return of the Arts.

August has always been a busy month across Scotland for the arts – mostly due to the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The Fringe usually sees thousands of international visitors flock to the city to enjoy Edinburgh’s cutting-edge theatre and entertainment.

After a year off, the Edinburgh Fringe is going ahead at a reduced capacity from the 6th to the 30th August. However, the Fringe is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to theatre in Scotland this month and beyond! We’ve been working closely with several theatre clients to develop a media plan for their upcoming events and to encourage and welcome the public back into theatres.

Media Buy at Cole AD

Stephen and Michael spearhead our media buy offering at Cole AD and, for over a decade, have helped promote some of the biggest and most exciting arts and cultural events across Scotland. Our agency handles media buy campaigns across Scotland covering outdoor, press and radio on a daily basis. We are currently working closely with clients such as Capital Theatres in Edinburgh, Dundee Rep and Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

How does it work? It takes connections, local knowledge and a lot of forward planning to bring it all together. Securing the best spots and building strategic campaigns that will target the appropriate audiences and get the word out there is all in a day’s work.

A key element is understanding your client and the audience they’re looking to target. This understanding of audiences helps us plan a strategic media strategy. Plus, our years of experience and involvement in the industry help us secure some of the hottest spots in Scotland.

“Absolutely the best media buyer in Scotland! Cole AD provides exceptional service and unbeatable attention to detail. The result has been tremendous media coverage and tremendous audiences.”
Sam Goldblatt, Capital Theatres Edinburgh

Looking ahead to later this year, we have Panto season coming up which will take a lot of forward planning! Luckily we’re more than prepared to help our clients reach the audiences they’ve been dreaming of for the past 16 months. If you’re interested in media space and need expert advice, get in touch with us today to discuss your options.
