One of the regular highlights of our year is our client, Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland‘s, Burns Supper. Every January, they throw a big shindig for Burns Night and we’ve been lucky to not only be attendees, but sponsors of this great event for several years. The SBH Scotland Burns Supper is always a fantastic evening and has given us the opportunity to have a night of socialising with our clients, as well as making new connections.
Unfortunately this year, SBH Scotland are unable to bring us all together in person due to lockdown restrictions. However, that doesn’t mean the show won’t go on! This years’ Burns Supper is back and bigger than ever.
On the 25th January, SBH Scotland will be hosting a free virtual Burns Supper, streamed live to Facebook and YouTube at 7pm. Having a virtual event means that this has the potential to be the biggest Burns Supper ever! The goal is to bring together viewers from all across the world to celebrate Robert Burns.
It’s a packed bill, featuring Janey Godley, Christopher Tait, Bruce Fummey, Kevin Brown, Fran Healy and Fred MacAulay. So you’re sure to be entertained all evening!
With the world invited, we’re sure it may be many’s first Burns Supper – and probably the first for many hosted in their own home. A plate of haggis and a dram are definitely encouraged – and what’s stopping you from hosting your own ceilidh in the living room? Well, apart from downstairs neighbours! Many thanks to SBH Scotland for still putting on this amazing event and pouring their heart and souls into it! We can’t wait to join Burns fans the world over for a special evening.
Client response the day after…
“So far the event has seen over 9,000 views and we’ve raised around £30,000 which is far more than we could have dreamed for an online event, so we’re delighted. I wanted to say a massive thanks to Cole AD for sponsoring the artwork again. I genuinely didn’t think it would be a bigger job than a real ‘in person’ event. Your team have been great in meeting all my asks, thank you!”
It’s ok if you missed it, we have the YouTube link here – enjoy!
