As the year draws to a close, the Cole AD Studio has taken plenty of inspiration beyond the day job. From standout TV series & films that sparked conversations across the team, to our favourite events of 2025, we took time at our last meet of the year to share our highlights.
First up, we have Garry loving the cinema visits to see Frankenstein and I Swear. On TV, he enjoyed Pluribus and Leonard & Hungry Paul. Scotland qualifying for the World Cup was incredible viewing. He also spoke very highly of a family day at Scottish Crannog Centre, the 5-star open-air museum and Iron Age village located on the shores of Loch Tay. The original crannog was destroyed by fire in 2021, but the centre has since rebuilt a new, larger site. This sounds brilliant and many of us will pay this venue a visit next year.
Michael taking his family to this year’s Jurassic Park film gave him a great time as everyone was scared in the cinema, except him he claims! On the small screen, his favourite show was Landman starring the tremendous Billy Bob Thornton. As a lifelong Liverpool FC fan, he took his family, also huge fans of the club, to the city to witness the street parade celebrating the league victory. Seeing the players on the open top bus, with Calvin Harris handling the music, the crowd was one million people strong, and an exceptional time.
For Daniel, as a big Marvel fan, he liked the new Thunderbolts film. Reacher and Gen V and Alice in Borderland were all tv shows he loved in 2025. As his young kids get a bit older and learn about Santa, taking the family to Gouldings was excellent fun. As a gamer, he absolutely loved Expedition 33.
TV show wise for Stephen included Welcome to Derry and Andor S2, both excellent in his eyes. For best experiences, Stephen spent most of July in Valencia working remotely. He stayed on to explore more of the region for his annual leave. Akin to Garry, he also loved World Cup and Scotland, although it made for nervous watching. Favourite film of 2025 was the underdog sports drama, F1!
Winding up for 2025, we thank all our clients, suppliers, and media partners for a very busy year. Come 2026 our agency celebrates 40 years in business, and we look forward to what comes next. Until then, happy Christmas to one and all!
