Bringing Edinburgh together for The King’s Theatre grand reopening
When one of Edinburgh’s most iconic cultural venues prepares to reopen its doors, it deserves a media campaign that matches the occasion. At Cole AD, we’re proud to be delivering the media planning and buying for the reopening of The King’s Theatre. This combines high-impact outdoor advertising with the trusted local reach of Forth 1 FM.
Our approach is designed to maximise awareness across the city in the weeks leading up to the reopening. Outdoor advertising plays a vital role in ensuring the campaign is seen where people live, work and travel. By targeting key commuter routes, city centre locations and areas surrounding the theatre, we can build strong visibility and keep the reopening front of mind throughout the day.
To complement this, we’ve partnered with Forth 1 FM to reach Edinburgh audiences through one of the city’s most popular radio stations. Radio allows us to reinforce campaign messages during breakfast and drive-time programming, creating multiple opportunities for people to hear about the reopening while on the move. Combining visual and audio advertising helps increase message recall and encourages audiences to take the next step, whether that’s visiting the website or booking tickets.
This integrated media strategy demonstrates the power of combining traditional channels to deliver measurable results. Outdoor advertising creates broad, consistent reach, while local radio adds personality, excitement and frequency.
At Cole AD, every media plan is built around the objectives of our clients. Using local market knowledge and strategic planning to deliver campaigns that make an impact. We’re excited to play a part in welcoming audiences back to one of Edinburgh’s most treasured theatres.
