Cole AD are delighted to have worked on a new website design for East Dunbartonshire Association for Mental Health!

After a refresh of their branding, the next project was a new accessible website design. Through focus groups and regular feedback sessions, we listened to what staff and service users wanted from their new site.

Users felt it was key to have a clear and prominent point of contact should they need help. They also favoured a site that was empathetic and friendly with info they could relate too. No technical jargon allowed!

Taking this on board we created a new site that encompassed all these things and more. Above all we’ve placed a stronger focus on the users and their experience within the site. It’s an accessible, more approachable site with simple navigation and clean content pages. It is also optimised for use on all devices too!

Inaccessible and confusing content was a problem with the old website. Therefore we focused on storytelling and sharing the journey of those who have used the EDAMH service. Using these stories and carefully curated photography, it promotes the services EDAMH offer in a more relatable way.

We loved working with EDAMH on this project and getting to know the staff and users throughout the process.

The new EDAMH website is now live, take a look at www.edamh.org.uk.
