Glasgow Subway campaign for Garth Ivan’s exhibition
Our latest media buying campaign is now live across the Glasgow Subway, promoting contemporary photographic artist Garth Ivan and his forthcoming solo exhibition, In Bardo Time Is Frozen Like Glass.
The campaign brings Garth’s work to audiences across Glasgow through one of the city’s most recognisable and high-profile out-of-home advertising environments. The exhibition will take place at House for an Art Lover from 23–28 September 2026, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Garth Ivan’s latest work in one of Glasgow’s most distinctive cultural venues.
The Power of Media Buying for Arts and Culture
At Cole AD, we believe effective media buying can help connect creative work with the audiences who need to see it. From transport advertising and out-of-home campaigns to strategically planned media placements, the right campaign can significantly increase awareness and encourage audiences to take action.
This Glasgow Subway campaign demonstrates how carefully selected advertising locations can support artists, galleries, venues and cultural organisations by bringing exhibitions and events into the everyday journeys of potential visitors.

A Special Thank You
A huge thank you to Lesley Davidson of Beacon Arts Centre for the recommendation and for making the introduction to Garth. Collaborations and connections across Scotland’s creative and cultural sectors play an important role in bringing exciting projects to life, and we are delighted to be supporting this exhibition through our latest Glasgow media campaign.
