At Cole AD, we love bringing ideas to life through design – and one of our most heart-warming projects has been creating a mascot for SBH Scotland.
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland supports children, adults and families across the country, and we were delighted to design a friendly character who could help represent their incredible work.
That’s how Spiney the Diney was born – a bright, cheerful little dinosaur full of personality. From the first sketches, our team worked closely with SBH Scotland to ensure Spiney reflected the charity’s values of positivity, support and community. The goal was to create a character that children could instantly connect with, offering a sense of fun and comfort at events and in resources.
Now, Spiney has taken on a life of his own, proudly featuring on children’s t-shirts and bringing smiles to little ones across Scotland. Seeing him worn with pride is a reminder of the power of design to do more than look good – it can inspire joy and connection.
We’re proud to have played a small part in SBH Scotland’s mission, and we can’t wait to see where Spiney the Diney pops up next!
