The television show that many love is The Traitors. This season has featured Jessie, the first The Traitors UK contestant publicly living with a stammer. Her presence and openness about her speech difference generated broad public conversation and positive feedback.
Sadly, she was eliminated last week as a major threat to the killers in the house. Since her exit she has featured on the BBC airing her thoughts on stammer awareness and time on the show. Her representing people who stammer meant “more than any prize money ever could”.
The team at Cole AD were rooting for Jessie as one of our clients is Scottish Stammering Network (SSN). We designed their branding and website to help them improve their image and raise awareness. The work Jessie did on the show has further helped position SSN and those with a stammer to challenge stereotypes. A huge thanks to Jessie for making a big difference to many people!
